Target Industries

Generally, we look for stable, long-established businesses operating a sustainable niche in a traditional industry, with a product you can touch and manufacturing or warehouse facilities located in SoCal, where we can visit you. The industries below are just examples and the list is not exhaustive.

  • Distribution – long-term relationships serving specific niches

  • Transportation & Logistics – we have extensive experience here

About You

  • Privately owned by an individual, family or set of partners that has final authority on the ability to sell
  • Ready to retire, no family members required to stay in business
  • Prepared to consider a sale in 2025 or early 2026 (unsure is OK)
  • You do not need to stay on longer than 6 months, but if you want to we are open to it
  • Values-first: you want your business run the way you built it, by people you trust
  • Trust and communication: you will approach the transaction with a spirit of cooperation and mutual benefit, as will we

The Transaction

  • We are serious, private buyers. This means we will close fast, we have the funds to pay you, it will be mostly cash, and we have done this before – the process will be professional, transparent, and without surprises.
  • You do not need to be particularly prepared – all we need to make an offer is 3 years of as-is financials and a few meetings to get to know you
  • We will offer you a fair price for what you have  built and it won’t be a lowball. LOI can come as soon as 30 days from first meeting.
  • The transaction will be *mostly cash* and it’s our personal money
  • The transaction can close fast (60 – 90 days) or slower (end of 2025) as you are comfortable with
  • You can bring a broker if you like, but their fees are your responsibility. Advisors, attorneys and CPAs are expected and welcome.

After The Transaction

  • We will be present inside the business day to day, in person (this is why we seek the SoCal location)
  • We will both be actively managing hands on
  • We will seek to keep your existing staff, vendors and customers
  • We will not change much in the first couple years – this is when we learn, and we hope you’ll teach us
  • We intend to hold this business forever, there is no exit or flip strategy. This means we think long-term about the well  being of staff and customers.
